MELISSA SNYDER

Hello, friend and I'm so glad you stopped by! My name is Melissa and I believe that life is full of reasons to celebrate, and I cherish the role I get to play in the lives of all my clients.
I grew up in the small town of Holley, NY and since I can remember, I have always enjoyed crafting and decorating. Prior to planning, I had the privilege of teaching MS/HS English + Reading for 13 years but sadly lost my position right before the pandemic in 2019. During this time, many couples lost their wedding venues and were in need of assistance with planning backyard weddings. To assist those in need, I decided to offer my planning and decorating services and instantly fell in love with wedding planning. It is then when I discovered my passion for weddings and helping couples celebrate the biggest day of their lives!
In my spare time, you can find me barefoot in my garden, thrifting vintage items, or chasing the sunset on my motorcycle. I'm a plant mama and love to travel, soak in the sunlight, and meet new people. I'm married to my soulmate, Alan, and we have two beautiful daughters, Claire and Cora, who are our worlds. I love to snuggle our fur babies, Toby and Layla.
As your wedding planner
Serving as both a close confidant and a trustworthy friend, I will help you carefully plan a one-of-a-kind event that speaks true to you as a couple. During our time together, we will focus on planning your wedding just as you envisioned. I will take the time to get to know you as a couple, your wedding day ideas, and offer any assistance to make the planning process simple and most importantly, fun!
Be it designing and decorating a beautiful wedding or working closely with vendors to deliver excellent service, I find so much joy in helping couples celebrate their special day. My goal is to cheer you on, support your ideas, and make planning easy and enjoyable.
Our time together will leave you feeling supported and loved so that you can focus on celebrating with your friends and family.

"Where do I even begin? Melissa made our boho wedding dreams come true! We hired her looking for a day of coordinator but she was truly so much more than that. From the very beginning, she helped me plan my decor and I was able to access her huge inventory of decor to rent and when you rent from her, she brings it all and takes it with her, so you don’t have to do any transporting! She set up and tore down everything, making it so that all our family and guests could just enjoy their time at the wedding. She went out of her way to bring extra decor that she thought would accentuate our venue and theme. Melissa truly put so much effort into making our vision come to life!
